FIREFIGHTERS from across the county worked through the night after more than 4,000 hay bales caught fire.
Crews were called shortly after 6.30pm on Friday to a field off the Kingham to Daylesford Road in Kingham, near Chipping Norton.
Six crews from Banbury, Chipping Norton, Witney, Oxford and Hook Norton were called to the incident. Two crews worked overnight and another remained at the scene of the fire on Saturday.
No one was injured in the incident.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was not yet known.
