MILES from home an African musician has been busking in Witney and Oxford to raise money for a music school in Senegal.
Jali Fily Cissokho, pictured, has been living in Witney while he raises funds for a new music centre in Ziguinchor, where he was born.
He is working with the Oxford-based project Kaira-Arts, which aims to promote the appreciation of Senegalese culture, music, and craft.
He works on the project teaching and performing in concerts. Recently, they raised almost £200 at Burford Garden Centre.
