DOGS, cats, rabbits, hamsters, two horses, and a pony were among the animals attending the Leafield village's annual pet blessing service on Sunday.
Leafield Village Church vicar, Rev Jane Knowles said: "We welcome all creatures great and small.
"Everyone loves their pets, and they are proud of them, and they care for them.
"At school, I invite children to suggest things or people to pray about, and they invariably choose their pets.
"This is not sentimental, but genuine human concern for living creatures. We were born to love, and that is what the Christian faith is all about. Pets teach us to do that."
