New Indian restaurant opens

THE Oxford Times food critic, Christopher Gray, right, and his partner, Rosemarie Perry, were among the many guests invited to celebrate the official opening of Eynsham's latest Indian restaurant, Spiceorama.

Situated in Newland Street, this restaurant will be open seven days a week, serving a special buffet at Sunday lunchtimes.

Proprietor, Sadek Islam, centre, from Bangladesh, said he was very excited by this new venture, and was confident it would prove successful.

Christopher Gray said: "It's indicative of the popularity of Asian cuisine that a village, such as Eynsham, which is already blessed with one excellent Indian restaurant, should attract a second."
