NEW shelving and comfy cushions have been installed in Ducklington Pre-School's reading corner thanks to a £650 grant from the Midcounties Co-operative, writes Jo Duckles.
Pre-school chairman, Caroline Collair, said: "The book corner is very popular. That's why it was literally falling apart.
"With the new storage, the children can easily see which books are available, and settle down on the cosy cushions to spend some time quietly reading."
Ducklington Pre-School is held in the village hall, and attended by about 20 children every day.
