Witney’s captain Tim Hardy fires home their opening goal from a short corner with a ferocious shot
Witney continued their winning run with a 3-2 home success against Wycombe 2nd in men’s Regional League Division 2.
Tim Hardy scored first from a short corner, only for Wycombe to equalise from a set piece of their own.

Witney then helf on with few alarms.
Witney 2nd let slip the lead as they lost 3-2 at Bracknell in Division 4. Despite arriving late, due to heavy traffic, the visitors were quickly into their stride, pinning the hosts back with some accurate passing.
And the pressure paid off when Scott Summers fired in Witney’s opener with a super shot into the top corner.
Witney doubled their lead after the break when Hugh Collins found the net following a reverse stick shot.
However, Bracknell clawed a goal back before levelling. Witney tried to get a winner, but Bracknell held on.
Patrick Button and Dave Nasralla scored twice as Witney 3rd stayed top of Division 6 with a 5-1 home thrashing of Old Merchant Taylors 4th. Dave Vermeulan secured their nap hand.
Witney Ladies lost 3-2 at home to Oxford Ladies 2nd in South League Division 3A.
Karen Easterbrook cancelled out Oxford’s second-half penalty opener, only for the visitors to go ahead.
Easterbrook again leeveled, but Oxford won it with a last-minute penalty corner.
