Jason Francis scored a double as Carterton trounced Hook Norton 5-1 in Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 West, thanks to goals from Jason Francis (2), Sam Farr, Jamie McDonagh and Mark Norridge.

Ben Tew replied for Hook Norton.

Old Woodstock Town crashed to a 5-2 home defeat against Wootton Bassett Town.

Lewis Coyle bagged a brace for the home side, with Shaun Terry (3), Richie Saunders and Matt Bown doing the damage for the second-placed visitors, who had Craig Bowden sent off late on for an alleged stamp.
