BADMINTON: Henry Box in double delight

Henry Box School, Witney, boys teams will   represent Oxfordshire Schools in the South East National Schools Championships at the University of Surrey on March 14 following notable successes at the Center Parcs County Schools Championships.
It is believed to be the first time a school from Oxfordshire has won both age group competitions.
Both the under 14 and the under 16 teams attended the county finals held at Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre, having already won the West Oxfordshire crowns last year.
In the finals, the under 14 team of Ben Roberts, Ben Evans, Elliott Heritage and Tom Hayes team beat Gosford Hill   4-1, Lord Williams 4-1 and Abingdon Boys School 3-2.
The under 16 team of Joe Roberts, Ashley Garrison, Tom Weston and James Currah defeated Wallingford 5-0, Abingdon Boys School   5-0 and King Alfred’s School 5-0.
