GYMNASTICS: Quintet shine at county meeting

CARTERTON gymnasts secured three gold medals and two silvers in the Oxfordshire Club Grades event at Berinsfield.
Amelie Meaden, Natasha Granville and Ella Mead took gold, with Evie Daft and Georgia Bishop claiming silver.
Daft scored 59.05pts for silver at level 14, while Meaden bagged level 13 gold with a tally of 58.10.
Granville scored 47.45 for her gold at level 11.
Bishop and Ella Mead both competed at level 10 where Mead totalled 43.10 for gold and Bishop recorded 41.20 for silver.
All Carterton’s gymnasts had vault as their best piece.
