Holders West Witney saw off Brize Norton 3-1 on penalties after their clash ended 1-1.

The visitors led through Pawel Bronk after 15 minutes and they held on grimly, but Karl Dodds eventually took the game to spot-kicks.

Chipping Norton Town also won on penalties, ousting Bourton Rovers after their game finished 2-2.

The visitors led via Sam Mattock and Matty Winter, but brothers Andy and Richard McCabe scored to take the game to extra time. Bampton United edged out Bampton Town 2-1, with Conner O’Shea and Conor Kelly scoring for United. Aaron Robins replied.

In an all-Premier Division clash, Carterton won at home to Hanborough 3-2.

Mike Bolt’s effort for Carterton was soon cancelled out by Joey Burgess.

Hanborough took the lead through Arran Hobley, but Luke Simmond levelled before Jack Mills nicked it.

Minster Lovell enjoyed a 3-1 victory at Aston.

Two goals from Jason Blackman were added to by Mykel Ryan. Matt Brown netted for Aston.

In the other all-Premier tie, hosts Witney Royals saw off Chadlington 2-1.

Tom West and Matt Thompson netted for Royals, Matthew Plumridge replying.

Last year’s beaten finalists, Carterton Rangers, fell at the first hurdle, losing 3-1 at Charlbury.

Two goals from Shaun Gilbert and one from Mark Fitzgerald saw Charlbury through, with James Bar-ker’s strike proving in vain for Charlbury.

Jack Morton helped himself to a treble as Duck-lington saw off Milton 6-1 at home. Jamie Kennedy (2) and Dan Price also scored. Pip Benfield replied for Milton.

North Leigh A beat ten-man FC Mills 5-0.

Ryan Maskery and Josh Russell hit doubles, to add to an own goal.

Spartan Rangers won 3-1 at Middle Barton.

Frank Clarke, Alex Thomson and Josh Grant netted for the visitors, with Michael Beale replying.

FC Nomads edged out Finstock 3-2.

Lee Travers put the visitors ahead before two goals from Chris Lawrence gave Nomads the lead.

Steve Bircher added a third, but a strike from Gary McKinnon produced a nervy finish.

Wootton defeated Wych-wood Foresters 2-0 with Mitch Larman and Mark Rawlings finding the net.

A brace from John Ayres gave Eynsham a 2-1 victory over Kirtlington.

FC Hollybush climbed to the top of the Division 2 table with a 3-0 victory at Witney Wanderers.

Lee Keyes scored his seventh and eighth goals of the campaign and Dave Cooper his fifth in the win. Witney Royals Res stay rooted to the bottom losing 5-1 to Ducklington Res. It was a mixed day for Will Hayes as the 16-year-old netted his first senior goal for Royals, but suffered a suspected wrist fracture.

On target for the visitors were Bradley Snell, Lee Beer, Waine Evans, Josh Hartley and Ryan Oliver.

Spartan Rangers Res maintained their perfect start to the season with a 3-1 win at home to Ducklington A in Division 3.

Pat Brown, Gavin Komi-nek and Jason King scored, with Paul Saunders on target for Ducklington.

Carterton Town B are on the heels of the leaders, and they boosted their goal difference with an 8-0 triumph over Bourton Rovers Res.

Dan Sollis took his season’s total to eight with a hat-trick and there were two more for Olly Bush. John Smailes, Neil Taylor and Craig Isle scored the rest.
