West Witney charged into the Witney & District FA's Fred Ford semi-finals with an 8-0 away thrashing of Bampton United.

Tony McLemen, Ian Sparkes and Kev Lewis scored doubles with Karl Dodds and Dan Brearley getting the others.

Joining them in the semi-final draw are Carterton Town A, who eased past Spartan Rangers 4-1 at home.

Jason Lonsdale scored a hat-trick with Jason Trinder getting the other. Josh Grant replied.

Chris Lawrence scored a treble for FC Nomads, but ended up on the losing side as they went down 4-3 at home to Combe for whom Ethan Penny, Simon Baker, Sam Hubbard and Chris Betreen on target.

Witney Royals took Ducklington to penalties after drawing 1-1 at full time.

Matt Thompson and Joe Crocker scored for hosts Royals and Ducklington respectively, with Royals winning the penalty shoot-out 7-6.

Meanwhile, in the Jack Busby Memorial Cup, Hailey Res beat Chipping Norton Town Res 4-0 away to secure their passage to the semi-finals.

John Andrews, Dan King, Darryl Kew and Mo Semlali were on the scoresheet.

Chipping Norton Town moved three points ahead at the top of the Premier Division with a 2-1 win at Hailey, thanks to goals from Daniel Kirby and Warwick Tompkins.

Hailey, for whom Luke Manning was on target, had the chance to salvage a point, but their last-minute penalty was saved.

Aston secured a vital three points in the battle of the bottom three courtesy of a 2-0 home win over Chadlington.

It means Aston Aston have now opened up a four-point gap between them and the relegation zone after Phil Caswell and Graham Carter both found the back of the net.

Minster Lovell stayed in the danger zone after a 2-0 loss to visitors Hanborough. Tom Lewis and Craig Johnson scored the telling goals.

Third-placed Bourton Rovers eased to a 3-0 win at home to Kingham in Division 1. Callum Trott, Steven Ternier and Joe Jarvis were the marksmen, while Phil Cooker missed from the spot for the visitors.

The points were shared in the derby between Brize Norton and Carterton Pumas as the sides drew 2-2.

Gezz Morgan and Pawel Bronk scored for hosts Brize, with Kai Merret and Si Turner levelling.

FC Hollybush moved back to the top of Division 2 with a 9-0 thrashing of Bampton Town at home.

Dave Cooper led the scoring with a four-timer. The rest of the goals were shared among Lee Keyes, Kev Davies, Karim Diallo, Warren Senior and Dan Search.

Ducklington Res defeated FC Mills 5-2 away, with goals from Scott Mason (2), Waine Evans, and Josh Hartley all scored for the visitors.

The icing on the cake was a 25-yard free kick from Brad Olive.

Witney Wanderers kept the pressure on the leaders with a 3-1 win over Witney Royals Res.

Darryl John (2) and Andrew Thompson scored for the hosts with Will Hayes getting one back.

Kirtlington are also still within striking distance of the promotion spots after a 4-1 win over Milton.

Alex Metcalfe, Danny Woodley, Nathan Kelly and Sam Wheeler all got on the score sheet as Dan Hooton replied for Milton.

Division 3 leaders Minster Lovell are a point clear at the top after a 4-0 win over Ducklington A.

Adam Bennett, Jim Hearn, James Hector and Arron Mullis were all on target to fire Minster to the summit.

Wootton beat previous leaders Carterton Town B 6-3 at home.

Charlie Bough scored a hat-trick for the hosts, with Graham Berry, Kenny Rawlins and Mitch Larman on target for Wootton.

Dan Sollis, Olly Bush and Matt Herbert replied.

Charlbury Res got off the mark with a 6-4 win over Bourton Rovers Res, with goals from Shaun Gilbert (3), Jack Ely (2) and Gary Jones.

Jake Oakey also bagged a treble in reply for Bourton, with James Clarke getting the other.

Middle Barton stayed in touch with the leaders in a 3-2 win at Kingham AB Res, with goals from Lee Haynes (2) and Martin Kay.

Luke Herbert and Ed Webb scored either side of half-time for the home side.

Wychwood Forest fought back from a goal down to beat FC Hollybush 3-2 at home.

Dan Bilton and Dean Spivey scored for the visitors, with Spivey spurning the chance to salvage a point late in the game by missing from the spot.
