Rhys Bayliss and Rhys Warner-Carter helped themselves to doubles as Chipping Norton stayed three points clear at the top of the Witney & District FA Premier Division with a 7-1 home thrashing of basement boys Minster Lovell.

Warwick Thompkins, Dean Blake and Kieron Watts completed the rout. Stephen Burke hit back for Minster.

West Witney have three games in hand on Chippy, but are still only three points behind after a 3-0 success at Chadlington.

Karl Dodds, Jamie Stalker and Kevin Lewis did the damage to leave the hosts second from bottom.

Charlbury’s title chances were dealt a blow after they were held to a 2-2 draw by visitors Ducklington.

Damon Tollley and Ian Peedle were on target for the hosts, with Craig McCallum and Tony Bott finding the net for Charlbury.

Carterton Town A hammered Aston 4-1 at home.

Carterton Town B thra-shed Minster Lovell 4-1 at home in the sides’ top-of-the-table clash in Division 3.

John Smalles (2), Lee Litton and Lee Manley were on target for Carterton who moved five points clear as a result.

Nathan Bowles netted for second-placed Minster.

Nathan Beckett (2), Jordan Day, Steve Godfrey, Jack Henry, Connor O’Shea and Conor Kelly were all on target for Bampton United as they stormed to a 7-2 triumph at Bourton Rovers Res.

Josh Pearson and Jake Oakey scored for the hosts.

Brize Norton Res went down 4-3 at home to Wootton in a thrilling encounter.

Graham Berry, Charlie Bell, Tom Franklin and Mitch Marvin gave Wootton a seemingly unassailable lead.

But a second half blitz from Shaun Rawlings, Scott Peaper and Rob Brown saw Brize get right back into the contest.

However, they were unable to find an equaliser as Wootton held on.

Charlbury Town Res lost 2-1 at home to Chipping Norton Town Res.

Sean Godfrey was on target for the hosts, with Matt Smith bagging a brace in reply.

Kingham Res had to settle for a 3-3 home draw against Ducklington A.

Gareth Price (2) and Jake Hazelwood netted for Kingham, with Shaun Brown (2) and Stu Cutts making up Ducklington’s tally.

Corinthians crushed Division 4 title rivals Eynsham SSC Res 7-2 away from home in the race for promotion.

Sam Smith bagged a four- timer with Frank Webb, Jose Castro and Mark Henderson also netting.

Kevin Webb and Lee Parsons scored the consolation goals for Eynsham, Meanwhile, Tom Kernag-ham bagged a brace as Hanborough Res marched through to the second round of the league’s Junior Shield with a 2-0 home win against Eynsham SSC.
