Bartholomew School, Eynsham pupils Rebekah Richens and Katie Carvel were in top form as they each won three gold medals at Oxfordshire Association’s annual Schools Tournament at Radley College.
Richens took the under 15 singles title before teaming up with Lizzie Mason to win the doubles. She then linked up with Adam Fisk to take the mixed doubles crown. Fisk also picked up bronze medals for singles and doubles.
In the same age group, Ciaran Walsh, also of Bartho-lomew’s won silvers in singles and doubles, while fellow pupil James Cook took silver in mixed and doubles events.
In the under 17s, Carvel triumphed in the singles, the doubles – where she was partnered by Zoe Buckingham – and mixed where she teamed up with James Grist-Perkins.
There were also medals for fellow Bartholemew pupils Eleanor Fancourt, Thea Watts and Adam Hoffman.
Henry Box School’s Emma Hempstead won the girls under 13 singles and joined up with her brother and fellow pupil, James, to lift the mixed doubles crown with a 21-19 success.
Asha Wilkinson, from Bla-kes School, Witney claimed gold in the under 11s singles against Hannah Hayes.
