Chipping Norton’s Sean Walkinshaw starts his preparations for the European Formula 3 Open season at Jerez in Spain on Friday.
After a strong maiden season in Formula 3 last year, the 20-year-old is relishing returning to his Campos Racing-engineered Dallara F312.
“I’m really looking forward to being back in the car and working with the Campos guys again”, said Walkinshaw.
“It’s going to be a completely new experience, though, with the new engine and there’s still a lot to learn about the car in general with it being my first year.
“We need to try and carry on the good progress we made in testing before the New Year.”
The opening round takes place at Paul Ricard HTTT in France on Saturday, March 1.
