Rachel Masser led the way as Woodstock Harriers produced a strong showing at the White Horse Half Marathon.
Masser was the second lady home and as a bonus claimed the Oxford-shire title on a course affected by strong winds.
The 40-year-old clocked 1hr 25mins 54secs to finish 44th overall and was only beaten by Bourton Road Run-ners’ Shona Crombie-Hicks (1.24.53).
Woodstock’s James Bolton finished fourth overall and was second vet 40 man home in both open and county races.
Bolton recorded 1.12.03, but was edged out by new vet 40 rival, Abingdon’s Paul Fernandez (1.11.50).
Woodstock’s Bryan Vaughan bag-ged a vet 60 double in a time of 1.26.32.
The club also won both men’s teams prizes, with Brian O’Connor (1.20.18), Dave Cantwell (1.20.57) and Kevin Game (1.23.36) completing their side.
Woodstock were also second in the ladies’ competitions, ahead of Eynsham Road Runners.
Hannah Hale broke Eynsham’s ladies’ record to win a brace of seniors’ titles.
Hale finished fourth and 65th overall in 1.28.50.
Clubmate Kate Williamson dominated the vet 65 ladies’ category with a victory double in 1.42.07.
Tegid Jones was Witney Road Runners’ leading performer, finishing ninth in 1.17.26.
