Newly-crowned Premier Division champions West Witney wrapped up their campaign with a 5-0 home success against Chadlington, writes Anthony Bar-low.

Goals from Chris Bowles, Chris Hirons, Ian Sparkes, Stefan Reed and Carl Will-iams sealed the hosts’ nap hand.

West Witney had sealed the title last Wednesday with a 7-2 thrashing of visitors Witney Royals.

Reed bagged a brace, with Hirons, Williams, Karl Dodds, Kev Lewis and Alex Stubbs completing the rout. Mo Semlali notched a double as Hailey Res took over at the top of Division 1 with a 3-1 win at home to FC Nomads.

Tom Gonzales was their other scorer, with Dave Hurp replying for the hosts.

At the other end of the table, Hanborough Res were relegated following a 4-0 thumping at Kingham.

Jamie Hazell (2), Dom Hemming and Richard Fre-nch netted for the home side.

Combe stretched their lead at the top of Division 2 with a 5-0 thrashing of relegated Witney Royals Res.

Ethan Penny scored a hat- trick for the hosts with Matt Currill and Roger Moss getting the others.

Middle Barton still have an outside chance of going up from Division 3 after a 5-0 home win against Brize Nor-ton Res.

Martin Kay scored a double, with Lee Haynes, Charlie Yeomans and Rob Davis also on target.

Aston Res kept their Div-ision 4 promotion hopes on track with a 2-1 home win against Milton Res, thanks to goals from Chris Poulson and Matt Gregor.

Matt Molyneux hit back for Milton.

It means Aston now have to win their last four games to go up.

Wootton Res drew 1-1 at home to Spartan Rangers A.

Dexter Lancaster scored for the visitors, while Aidan Marx’s goal kept them a point clear off the foot of the table.
