Hailey Res’ saw their Witney & District FA Division 1 title dreams disappear as they went down to a 4-2 defeat at Bourton Rovers.

Needing to win to take the crown from leaders Brize Norton, Hailey got off to a poor start as Craig Gilson and Matt Winter fired the hosts into a 2-0 lead.

Although Hailey levelled through Mo Semlali and Steve Holder, two late goals from Adam Welby and Sam Matt-ock sealed Hailey’s misery.

Shane Probitts and Nathan Kelly each bagged a brace as Kirtlington sealed a third-place finish in Division 2 with a 9-0 thrashing of FC Mills.

Ryan Moran-Ross, Daryll Collins, James Buller and Danny Woodley were among their other scorers.

Bampton United sealed promotion with a 4-0 thrashing of champions Carterton B, thanks to a Nathan Beckett double, with Conor O’Shea and Tom Madden completing their tally.

Wootton were left ruing missed chances, including a last-minute penalty, as they missed out on promotion in a 1-1 draw against Spartan Rangers Res. Steve Wright cancelled out an earlier own goal from Spartan, who can still get promotion.

Minster Lovell defeated Middle Barton 2-1, with Nathan Bowles and Neil Cro-zier on target. John Umney replied.

Hailey beat Charlbury 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the Senior Cup, thanks to goals from Luke Manning, Ian Steele and Jacob Hambidge. Steve Fitzgerald replied.

Matthew Howard opened their account, only for Spar-tan to level with a great strike from Jason King.

But second-half goals from Paul Morrison and Scott Peaper sealed it for Brize.

Carterton Rangers fought back from 2-0 down to beat North Leigh A 4-3 in the Junior Cup semi-final.

A Craig Greenhalgh brace gave North Leigh a 2-0 half-time lead.

However, Rangers turned on the style after the break, with goals from Lee Keyes (2) and Chris Balfe putting them ahead.

Although Max Godwin hit back, Rich Meredith sealed it.
