TOM Newey has put pen to paper on a new contract which will keep the defender at Oxford United next season.
The 31-year-old was out of contract this summer, but was offered terms earlier this month.
After considering his options, the left back has agreed to the new 12-month deal.
Newey signed last summer after being released by Scunthorpe United, making 47 appearances as the U's finished eighth in Sky Bet League Two.
