Leafield owner-trainer Mark Rimell provided jockey Graham Lee with the middle leg of a treble when 5-1 shot Spiraea bounced back to winning ways at Warwick, writes Russell Smith.
The four-year-old filly, who finished fourth at Nottingham on her previous start after scoring at Salisbury, responded well to her rider’s urgings to get up close home and beat Rigoletto by a head in a six-furlong handicap.
Lee had earlier struck on Fine Prince, before completing his hat-trick on Camanche Grey.
