Steve Moody has been crowned 2014 EMRA Pre-Injection series champion.

The Carterton racer has won ten races out of ten this year, clinching the title with a superb display at Mallory Park.

With an earlier race in the season cancelled, there were triple points on offer in the two rounds at the Leicestershire venue.

But Moody made no mistake, maintaining his 100 per cent record.

In the opening race, starting from pole, Moody made a great start on his 1999 pre-injection Honda CBF600 FX, but the riders were red flagged after a collision.

A poor start when the race restarted saw Moody behind 2013 champion Jon Skelson, but a thrilling battle eventually saw him take the win and seal the championship.

The second race saw Moody record a comfortable success and finish the campaign with a superb unblemished record.
