North Leigh boss Mark Gee says his side have to cut out mistakes if they are to get their play-off bid back on track.

The Millers are currently 12th in Division 1 South & West after a string of frustrating results, but Gee believes they are not far away from turning things around.

“Individual performances and team performances have been good, but we’ve just not got the results so far,” said Gee.

“We haven’t killed teams off when we’ve been on top and we’ve been conceding some sloppy goals.

“Individual errors at either end are really what have cost us so far this season.”

Gee feels his side’s points haul this season hasn’t reflected the quality of their play, He added: “Getting two or three results back-to-back is what we need right now, because we’ve not managed that all this season.

“There have been times when we’ve missed a number of great chances and then a mistake at the back has gifted them a goal, so we just need to cut out those mistakes.”

North Leigh plan to appeal the recent dismissals of midfielder Callum McNish and assistant manager Terry Merriman.

McNish was contentiously given his marching orders for an alleged push during last week’s 2-1 defeat at Cinderford Town, with Merriman following shortly for his protests.

On Saturday, North Leigh travel to Yate Town in the FA Trophy preliminary round.
