Tower Hill Ladies went down to a 4-1 defeat at Southern Region Women’s League Division 1 leaders MK City on Sunday.
The home side started the quicker, with Mel Gilbert in the Tower Hill goal tipping a shot over on 15 minutes before MK hit the bar.
On 25 minutes, MK took the lead when Rachael Waller lobbed Gilbert.
It got worse for Tower Hill ten minutes later when the same player doubled the hosts’ lead.
Although Tower created chances, they failed to beat the keeper and they were made to pay when Georgina Burns made it 3-0.
MK went 4-0 up on 60 minutes through Roksana Karbownik.
Lisa Freeman pulled one back on 70 minutes, but the damage had been done as the visitors suffered only their second defeat of the season.
