Sophie Carter set a personal best at the super fast Leeds Abbey Dash 10K.
The 35-year-old Belgrave Harriers athlete, from Woodstock, recorded a chip time of 36mins 30secs.
But such was the depth of the field that she was only the 37th lady home and 414th overall.
Carter, however, finished ninth in the vet 35 age group and Belgrave were the third ladies' team in the national 10k championships.
Meanwhile, Daisy Brown was the second lady home at the Broadway Marathon.
Brown (Witney Road Runners) completed the multi-terrain course in 4hrs 17mins 32secs to finish 22nd overall.
