Henry Box (Witney) have been chosen to fly the flag for Oxfordshire in the regional Centre Parcs Schools Under 16 competition next month.
The team of Ben Roberts (Brize Norton), Tom Hayes, Elliot Heritage and Ben Evans (all Witney) put up a fine display to win the west Oxfordshire finals at Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre in Oxford back in November.
They defeated Warriner School, Bloxham 5-0, Faringdon Community College 4-1 and Lord Williams’s School, Thame 3-2 as well as St Birinus, Didcot 4-1.
The under 14 boys’ event was won by Abingdon School, while Oxford High School triumphed in the under 14 girls and Wood Green School in Witney landed the under 16 girls crown.
