Stephen Litten helped himself to four of Yarnton Res’ goals as they fought back to win 7-3 at Eynsham Res in Division 2 of the Oxfordshire Senior League.

The visitors suffered a jolt when Charlie Siret fired the hosts ahead 30 seconds in.

However, Litten’s fantastic tally, plus a double from Andrew Paine and a Luke Brennan strike sealed it for Yarnton.

Ian Law and Steve Dobson were Eynsham’s other scorers.

Yarnton’s hopes of landing the Ben Turner Cup hopes were ended in a narrow 2-1 semi-final defeat at home to Division 1 counterparts Kidlington Old Boys.

Kidlington took the lead when Johnny Richards fired home.

Yarnton levelled in the second half through Andrew White.

Kidlington grabbed a winner when Danny Burrows’ corner went in off a Yarnton defender.

George Slatter scored twice and there were also goals from Matt Brock and Daniel Cleevely as Chadlington won 4-2 at home to FC Nomads.

FC Hollybush edged past Carterton Town B, with strikes from Dave Cooper and an own goal, with Craig Wighton replying for Town.

Chipping Norton Res reached the second round of the Supplementary Cup after beating Middle Barton 3-2, with goals from Matt Smith, Sam Philpott and Conner Ladbrooke, with Martin Kay and John Vinney’s goals for the visitors proving not quite enough.

Frank Webb hit a double as Corinthians beat Bourton Rovers Res 7-0. Jake Woodcock, Sam Aston, Luke Hessey, Dan Hackett and Josh Russell also scored for the home side.

Brize Norton’s hopes of Premier Division survival were dealt another blow as they were beaten 2-1 at Minster Lovell whose scorers were Nathan Harris and Luke French.

In Division 4, Kingham Res and Eynsham SSC Res played out a thrilling 4-4 draw.
