Witney’s India Mae Thompson has been crowned the Under 12 WKU British champion after sweeping aside the field in the -45kg category in Birmingham.
Thompson, 12, who is also the Unified World Kickboxing champion, will progress to the under 16 age group.
She will now prepare for travelling to Stuttgart, Germany, in October, for the World Championships.
Thompson has only been kickboxing for two and a half years, and proud father, Marc Thompson, said: “She is just one of those children who becomes a natural.
“She trains hard and puts the effort in.
“It proves if you put enough in you can achieve something.
“We are very proud.”
