Woodstock’s Sophie Carter and Jessica Webb were the leading ladies at the Oxford Town & Gown on Sunday.
Vet 35 athlete Carter was the first woman home as she crossed the line in 30th for a time of 36mins 30secs.
Webb finished just over a minute behind in 53rd and also as the first senior woman.
Eynsham Road Runners’ Benedict Pollard came home in 49th, a place ahead of Rob Linnell (Woodstock).
Miles Unterreiner, of Oxford University Cross Country Club, won the event ahead of Jonathan Cornish (Hercules Wimbledon) and David Bruce (Oxford City AC).
