Minster Lovell went top of OCA League Division 1 after a magnificent run chase saw them ease to a six-wicket victory at home to Great Horwood on Saturday.

It was the hosts third victory in as many games.

Exacting swift revenge for last Sunday’s Airey Cup preliminary-round defeat, Minster were chasing a formidable total of 239-9 after Josh Nix constructed a sublime century (110).

Elliot Graham with 3-41 and Ed Dunn (3-53) were the pick of the home bowlers.

But youngster Connor Tinsley (61no) and Dunn (50) led the way in Minster’s reply as they eased home at 240-4 with more than four overs to spare.

Chadlington fell to a sevenwicket defeat at home to Oxenford.

The home side had posted 152-7 as James Stoddart topscored with 59.

But Guy Williamson (87no) and Dipayan Das (45) saw the visitors reach 156-3.

Stonesfield went down to a 27-run defeat at Shrivenham.

Will Snell struck 76 as the home side posted 176-9, Ed Oakley capturing 4-49.

Thomas Swann finished with figures of 3-40 as Stonesfield were dismissed for 149.

Witney Swifts moved into second place in Division 2, following a 50-run victory at Chipping Norton.

Max Godwin (73) and Jason Seacole (58) shone in Swifts’ 198-8.

Then Alfie Saunders took 4-27 and youngster Redd Pratley 3-34 as Chippy were dismissed for 148.

Wantage eased to a 101-run home victory against Clifton Hampden.

Hanborough proved far too strong for hosts Fringford in a 96-run win in Division 3.

An aggressive 89 from Aston Leach set up a challenging total of 203, Ian Hedley grabbing 5-60 from his 12 overs.

Aaron Hobley took 4-35 to stifle Fringford’s top order, as they eventually fell to 107 all out.

A century from Graham White (108no) condemned Eynsham to a 94-run defeat at Chesterton.

The home side posted 201-6, despite Mark Weller’s 5-44.

Eynsham succumbed to the bowling of Trevor Price (5-21) and Lee Price (3-23) as they were dismissed for 107.

Jack Morland claimed 5-26 to help OCA League Division 4 leaders Swinbrook to a five-wicket win at home to Dorchester.

The visitors were shot out for 122 as Morland and Andrew Wingfield Digby (3-45) starred with the ball. Thom Airs took 4-4 in 12 miserly overs, but Wingfield Digby’s 50 not out and Richard Parker (33no) led Swinbrook to 123-5. Stanton Harcourt posted a three-wicket victory away to Britwell Salome.

Adam McConkey smashed an unbeaten century (119no) as Britwell rattled up an impressive 212-3. But 82 from Ollie Pascoe and 32 from Stuart Wastie led Stanton’s successful run chase as they reached 213-7.

Sean King’s 4-22 helped Hailey to dismiss hosts Deddington for just 100 runs. Hailey then reached 102-4 to seal a six-wicket success. Kilkenny lost by eightwickets to Uffington.

They posted 150-9, Peter Jones taking 5-23. Dan Painter top-scored with 89 to see Uffington in.

West Witney took over at the top of Division 5 as they squeezed past visitors Hook Norton by 14 runs.

Omer Tariq (49) and Saurabh Mehrotra (48no) saw West Witney to 173-9 in their 45 overs, Clive Plant taking 4-18. Greg Inge then claimed 4-35 as Hooky fell to 159 all out.
