Great & Little Tew remain top of Division 2 despite only drawing in their clash at Dinton on Saturday.

The leaders set 254-9 off 58 overs, and after restricting their hosts to 58-5, looked on course for another win.

But an 87-run sixth-wicket partnership between Nheem Amin and Kelvin Burrows (50) halted them.

And a 76-run seventh-wicket stand between Amin, who finished unbeaten on 86, and Tim Brooker (38) saw the match end in a draw.

Joe White (80) and Jordan Garrett (61) put on 129 for the first wicket after MINSTER Lovell stayed second in Division 5 following a 92-run win against visitors Kennington.

Richard Abraham stroked a classy 86 in Minster’s 251 all out, and then Tim Jarvis claimed 3-41 in Kennington’s 159 all out.

West Witney crushed visitors Steventon by ten wickets.

Dismissing Steventon for 121, West Witney cruised in at 122-0 as Greg Inge hit 73 not out.

Great Horwood 2nd defeated Bampton at home by six wickets in Division 6.

Neil Taylor returned figures of 5-24 to help dismiss visiting Bampton for 129, and Peter McHenry hit 51 and Taylor 43 not out to see Horwood to 130-4.

Chipping Norton 2nd eased past visitors Hanney by six wickets.

Rhys Warner-Carter was the pick of the Chipping Norton bowlers with a haul of 4-45, which helped to bowl Hanney out for 135.

Arthur Ward with an undefeated 46 and Adam Morrey, who made 36 not out then starred, leading the hosts to 137-4.

In Division 7, Tetsworth 2nd stretched their lead at the top after easing to a sevenwicket win away to Stonesfield 2nd.

Haroon Nasser Khan took 5-18 to saw Stonesfield tumbling to 66 all out, before Tetsworth raced to victory at 67-3.

Tew had been inserted.

However, they then lost wickets at regular intervals, and it was not until Robbie Shurmer (43) and Ashley Hubbert (31) came together for the seventh wicket the score accelerated.

The duo put on 63 as Tew posted a challenging total.

Lawrence Brock bowled Henry Woodward for a duck as the visitors started well, before Tew took three Dinton wickets with the score on 49, Brock again and Joe Thomas, twice, doing the damage.

When Thomas picked up his third wicket on 58, the game was Tew’s for the taking, but Dinton held firm.
