SUPPORTERS will have the chance to quiz Oxford United’s main men at a forum next week.

The club held similar evenings in Witney, Abingdon and Bicester last month and are now staging an event in Oxford on Wednesday, September 9.

Chairman Darryl Eales, chief executive Mark Ashton and head coach Michael Appleton will be answering questions from 8pm at Oxford City and County Bowls Club on Marston Ferry Road.

The activities start earlier in the day, with local schoolchildren invited to try bowls.

From 6pm fans have the chance to play in teams of three, with a United player or staff member added to each side.

  • JUST over 600 tickets have been sold for the visit to Bristol Rovers on Sunday.

The match is all-ticket, so fans have until 3pm today to book their place.

United have reported strong interest for the trip to Northampton Town on Saturday, September 12.

Just under 450 tickets were bought on the first day of sales.
