TOWER Hill Ladies went back to the top of Southern Region Women’s League Division 1 with an emphatic 6-0 home victory over New Forest Ladies.

With the visitors reduced to ten players early on due to injury, Tower took full advantage, taking the lead after half an hour when Ellen Hopkins lobbed the goalkeeper from 20 yards.

Just the one goal separated the sides at the break, but the hosts ran riot in the second half and quickfire goals from Sarah Snowdon and Anna Corney-Riera put them firmly in charge.

Samantha Bevan-Talbot headed in a fourth in the 68th minute and Lisa Freeman completed the rout with two late goals.
