Charlbury moved back up to second place in OCA League Division 1 after beating hosts Chipping Norton by 74 runs on Saturday.

Ben Geeson-Brown (43) and Graham Atkins (42) led Charlbury to 249-9.

Chippy fell for 175, despite 63 from Ian Widdows and 58 from Ben Millard, Geeson-Brown taking 4-27.

Minster Lovell’s title hopes suffered a setback as they lost by three wickets at home to Stonesfield.

Tom Gubbins was the star of the show for Stonesfield as his 6-34 sent Minster crashing to 141 all out, before Tim Wyatt (54) and Andy Crawford (32) led Stonesfield to 144-7.

Chadlington saw off visitors Broughton & North Newington by 33 runs in Division 2.

It was a day for the bowlers, as Phil Russell’s 3-32 restricted Chadlington to 158 all out.

But Toby Strong (4-40) and Craig Atlas (3-28) bowled well in tandem as Broughton slumped to 125 all out in reply.

A third-wicket stand of 147 between Alimar Khan (87) and Mark Strong (67) helped set Westcott on their way to a 120-run win at home to Kilkenny in Division 3.

They posted 266-7, which proved way beyond Kilkenny, who slumped to 146 all out in reply as Khan took 4-46 to complete a fine all-round performance.

Fringford defeated visitors Eynsham by 55 runs.

Ian Hedley (61) and Royston Blake (59no) helped Fringford to 182 all out, Dave Harris taking 6-49 for the visitors.

Phil King then claimed 5-21 for Fringford as Eynsham were bowled out for 127, Sam Jones top-scoring with 41.

Kidlington beat hosts Stanton Harcourt by 122 runs.

Batting first, Kidlington racked up 257-9 thanks to Sam Rodway (89) and Richard Walker (88).

Andy Walker took 5-44 for Stanton Harcourt and then led the way with the bat, top-scoring with 58.

But despite Walker’s knock, his side were all out for 135 as Dan Farrant took 3-28 and Michael Tippett 4-56.

In Division 4, Swinbrook’s title hopes suffered a setback after a 90-run defeat at Hailey.

Joel King (67) and Darren Harriss (55) saw Hailey to 229-8, and then Andy Green took 4-36 and Andy Wood 3-28 as Swinbrook fell for 139.

Minster Lovell 2nd eased to an eight-wicket win at Dorchester in a low-scoring affair.

Minster bowled with great economy as the home side crawled to just 121-7 in their 45 overs, Steve McComb contributing 70 not out.

Ollie Mersch then hit 54 and Ryan Frost 32 as Minster reached 123-2.

Charlbury 2nd saw off visitors Chipping Norton 2nd by 57 runs in Division 5.

Charlie Sinton was again the main man for Charlbury, top-scoring with 47 in his side’s 208-9, before taking 4-34 as Chippy were bowled out for 151.

Combe marched on at the top of Division 7 with an 80-run win at Kilkenny 2nd.

Combe posted 261-8 as Julian Chaundy hit 84 and John Francis 53.

Josh Bishop (92no) provided stern resistance for Kilkenny, but they fell for 181 as Robbie Nicholson took 4-52.

Ducklington stayed in second place after seeing off visitors Minster Lovell 3rd by eight wickets.

Minster posted 211 all out, led by Neil Spearman (89).

Jacob Hughes (91) and Liam Day (51) then led the way in Ducklington’s reply as they cruised to 214-2.

Wootton & Boars Hill 2nd came away from Hanborough 2nd with a four-wicket win.

The hosts racked up 235-5 in their 45 overs, Daniel Burgess hitting 65 and Richard Taylor 47 not out.

But the target was reached with six wickets down by Wootton, for whom Nik King hit 48 not out and Omar Hussain 47.

In Division 8, leaders Stanton Harcourt 2nd were far too strong for hosts Sunningwell 2nd in a 173-run victory.

Ian Urquart top-scored with 56 as Stanton posted 232-8.

Declan Wastie then claimed 4-8 as Sunningwell were shot out for 59.

Eynsham 2nd moved up to third place, beating visitors Dorchester 2nd by 68 runs.

Andy Howard hammered a superb 107 in Eynsham’s 238-8, and then Stephen Cooper took 4-45 and Patrick Arnold 3-25 as Dorchester managed just 170-9 in their reply.

Swinbrook 2nd saw off visitors Charlbury 3rd by 49 runs in Division 9.

Callum Dadge (48) and Durand Hotham (44) helped Swinbrook to 216-8, before Richard Parker took 3-22 and Joe Parker 3-52 in Charlbury’s 167 all out, Alex Bush hitting 75.

OSBERTON RADIATORS CUP SEMI-FINALS

Mark Horne returned outstanding figures of 7-8 in 11 overs as Witney Swifts 2nd cruised into the Osberton Radiators Cup final with a 163-run win at Risinghurst 2nd.

Rob Pratley hit 69 in Swifts’ 194 all out, before Horne took his magnificent haul to skittle Risinghurst out for just 31.

They will meet Yarnton & Cowley 2nd in the final after they overcame Haneny 2nd by nine wickets.
