MINSTER Lovell returned to winning ways with a crushing eight-wicket win at home to Oxenford to maintain their OCA League Division 1 title aspirations.
Youngster Luke Dick took league best figures of 4-25 as Oxenford were all out for 159.
Harry Ebsworth (66), Dave Prosper (43no) and Nathan Harris (37) shone for Minster as they cruised to 161-2 with more than 15 overs to spare.
Charlbury were no match for leaders Faringdon, crashing to a seven-wicket defeat.
Graham Atkins hit 53 but Charlbury were all out for 185.
Faringdon raced to 189-3 in just 32 overs as Rob Owen hit 107 not out.
Stonesfield fell to a seven-wicket defeat against visitors Shrivenham.
Adam Tucker took 5-35 in the hosts’ 117 all out, before Will Snell (50) and Charan Chahal (45) led Shrivenham to 120-3.
Struggling Chipping Norton lost by 33 runs at Radley.
Ali Malik was the star of the show, hitting 58 not out in Radley’s 237-6, before claiming 3-39 from 11 overs as Chippy fell for 204, Dave Brassett top-scoring with 69.
A superb 116 not out from Richard Ingram proved the difference as Chadlington ran out 58-run victors at Witney Swifts in Division 2.
Ingram dominated Chadlington’s innings of 167 all out, Alfie Saunders taking 5-27.
Charlie Fisher hit 38 in Swifts’ reply, but they were all out for 109 as Toby Strong (3-16) and Danny Harding (3-22) shone for the visitors.
On Sunday, Swifts fell to a three-wicket defeat at fellow strugglers Marsh Gibbon.
While Swifts were dismissed for 140, they looked on top as they reduced the hosts to 88-7, but Julian Chambers (46no) held his nerve to steer his side home at 141-7.
In Division 3, Eynsham thrashed hosts Hanborough by eight wickets to keep their title challenge on track.
Sam Jones hit 101 not out to steer Eynsham to 166-2 as they chased down the home side’s 164 all out.
Ryan Wastie’s 5-14 helped Stanton Harcourt to a five-wicket win at Tetsworth.
The hosts were shot out for 91, and then Rob Graham (32) led Stanton to 94-5.
MINSTER Lovell 2nd ran out 16-run winners at Deddington in Division 4 thanks to a father and son combination.
Tim and Zak Jarvis scored 63 and 57 respectively to see Lovell to 180 all out despite Ramesh Chennagiri’s 7-39.
Deddington fell to 164 all out in reply as Elliott Crowther took 4-38.
Swinbrook defeated visitors Sunningwell by 27 runs.
Kit Morland (60) and Alastair Cornah (50) led Swinbrook to
253-8, which proved enough as Richard Parker took 3-56 in the away side’s 226 all out.
In Division 5, four wickets apiece for Simon Launder and Julian Easterbrook helped leaders Bampton to a seven-wicket win at Charlbury 2nd.
Launder claimed 4-17 and Easterbrook 4-26 to dismiss the home side for 111.
James Bray (37no) and Grant Print (34) led Bampton to 112-3.
Hook Norton amassed 303-5 to thrash visitors Chipping Norton 2nd by 178 runs.
Alex Plant top-scored with 83 not out and Richard Knight added 66 for Hooky, who then dismissed Chipping Norton for 125, Adam Bennett taking 5-23.
West Witney saw off visitors Kennington by seven wickets.
Kennington were restricted to 155-7, before Saurabh Mehrotra scored 82 in West Witney’s 157-3.
Ducklington’s superb season in Division 7 continued with a
104-run win at home to Witney Swifts 2nd.
Scott Summers (53) and Kane Lewis (51) saw Ducklington to an imposing 266-9.
Ryan Lewis then returned 6-55 as Swifts were bowled out for 162, Finlay Boland hitting 67.
In Division 8, under-strength leaders Stanton Harcourt 2nd crashed to an eight-wicket defeat at Risinghurst 2nd.
Stanton could only field nine men and were all out for 49.
