CHIPPING Norton Town were annihilated 10-0 away to Hanborough in the Witney & District FA Premier Division, writes HARRY ROSE.

The unbeaten home side roared to their biggest win of the season with a hat-trick apiece from Jack Morton and Dan Haggie, a Joey Burgess brace, a Rob Keylock strike and an own goal.

Witney Royals moved off the bottom of the table with a 4-1 win over Eynsham SSC.

Brothers Telmo and Fabio Fernandes both found the net for Royals, along with Stewart George’s brace, with Andy Stratford replying for Eynsham.

Sean Gilbert and Warwick Tompkins goals gave leaders Charlbury Town a 2-0 win at home to Kirtlington.

Carterton Town A extended their unbeaten run to seven games with a 5-1 triumph at home to Minster Lovell.

Sam Wright scored for Minster, but goals from Chris McNeil, Olly Bush, Steve Freeman, Paddy Guillons and Rob Marsh ensured a comfortable victory.

Combe were held to a 3-3 draw at home to Hailey.

Simon Baker netted twice for Combe along with Matt Baker, but their efforts were matched by Zachary Oliver (2) and Martin Latimer for the away side.

There was a 10-2 victory for Carterton Rangers away to FC Nomads in Division 1.

Jonny Dover and Dan Hall grabbed three each, alongside further efforts from Liam Elliot, Carl Shirley, Adam Lee and James Dover for Carterton Rangers.

Olly Ward and Chris Laurence scored for the hosts.

Matt Smith scored four times for Aston as they trounced Milton 9-0.

Ryan Colleton netted twice, while Adam Clarke, Vince Evans and Jamie Kennedy were also on target.

Chadlington and Bampton United shared a point after a 3-3 draw.

Lee Woodward scored twice for the home side and Ashley Scearce also registered, but a brace from Connor Kelly and a Jake Pritchard effort earned Bampton a share of the spoils.

Joseph Boote struck twice for Moreton Rangers but couldn’t prevent their 3-2 defeat at Stonesfield.

Nick Clarke, Paul Penney and Jack Barker grabbed the decisive goals.

51-year-old Tony Bott grabbed the only goal of the game to give Middle Barton a 1-0 victory at home to FC Ascott in Division 2.

Tower Hill went top of the division with a 2-0 win at Witney Wanderers, courtesy of goals from Lewis Bartlett and Jamie Goodwin.

Will Smaldon, Kev Davies and Will Graham were all on target for Tower Hill Stars as they won 3-0 at home to Brize Norton.

Brian George hit a hat-trick as FC Ascott Res won 4-2 at home to Brize Norton Res in the second round of the Jack Busby Memorial Trophy.

Carl Forteath also netted for the hosts, with the away side’s reply coming from Jason Hirschfield and Daniel Simon.
