OXFORD United forward Rob Hall has been shortlisted for the Checkatrade Trophy's player of the round award.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, scoring four goals in nine appearances in all competitions.

Hall hit a brace in United's 6-2 victory over Stevenage in their Trophy opener last month.

And his performance impressed an independent panel, joining Bradford City's Jacob Hanson, Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi, Rochdale's Bradden Inman and Bristol Rovers' Dominic Telford on the shortlist.

Voting closes on Tuesday, September 26.
