ELEANOR Perks highlighted a successful year for Witney & District SC by reaching the final of national competition.
Competing in the Swim England Summer National Championships in Sheffield, the 13-year-old finished seventh in her age group 200m breaststroke.
She also came 18th overall in the 100m breaststroke.
Clubmate Ellie Browne, 16, was 15th in her age group 200m breaststroke.
Witney’s Maddie Good competed in the 16yrs 5k Open water swim in Sheffield, coming 23rd.
At Swansea, Ella Edwards, 15, and Jessica Miller, 13, raced in the Swim Wales National meet.
Edwards competed in five events, achieving fifth place in the 100m butterfly and sixth in the 200m butterfly.
She also made it into the top-12 in three events.
Miller competed in five strokes, securing four top-12 placings.
