Chadlington's Premier Division championship hopes were extinguished after a 2-1 defeat to Rover Cowley in their title decider on Saturday.
After a slow start, it was Chadlington who went closest to opening the scoring in a goalless first half, Alan Shadbolt volleying over from the edge of the box, and Lee Keyes failing to connect cleanly following a cross from the right.
Rover went in front three minutes after the break.
Steve Walsh raced clear on the right, before cutting inside to score past the advancing Nick Heritage in the Chadlington goal.
But just after the hour, Chadlington drew level.
Mark Odom and Robbie Wyatt combined well, setting up Richard McCabe, whose left-foot cross picked out Shadbolt, who headed home from close range.
But in the final minute, Chadlington's hearts were broken when Danny Williams scored after a surging run to clinch the title.
