Witney lifted the Currington Cup in a thrilling gala at Feltham.
Although they had built up a comfortable lead at the half way stage, this was gradually clawed back by the opposition, but with the overall results depending on the outcome of the final squadron relay event, Witney pulled out all stops to snatch the trophy.
Ten-year-old Andrew Tivey produced a super swim to win the boys' under 12 freestyle to earn the swimmer-of-the-match award, with the runner-up vote going to 16-year-old Mark Kemp, winner of the men's open butterfly.
Other Witney winners were Georgia French (backstroke), Megan Prosser (breaststroke, Daisy Merriman (freestyle), Naomi Moore (butterfly), Annabel Headley (breaststroke, Daniel Frost (breaststroke), Oliver Sharpin (freestyle), Robert Frost (breaststroke and Sam Bark (butterfly).
Result: 1 Witney 182pts, 2 Feltham 181, 3 Henley 142, 4 Teddington 141, 5 Anaconda 136.
