Witney Lakes has become one of the the first clubs in the country to boast two level-five coaches.

Golf tutor John Cook and son Matthew, from the res-ort’s John Cook School of Golf reached the required standard after passing examinations at Derby University.

Since John Cook opened the school, some of England’s leading amateurs, including Oxford University, have been coached there.

John Cook added: “In the past year we have also added Deana Rushworth, a former England international and Titleist performance programme coach to the staff.”
