MOTORSPORT: Grosjean learnt his lesson - Boullier

Lotus team principal Eric Boullier says a spell on the sidelines has taught Romain Grosjean a esson.

Grosjean, from the Enst-one-based team, watch ed Sunday’s Italian Grand Prix weekend as he served a one-race ban for a pile-up in Belgium.

Teammate Kimi Raikkonen was fifth.

Watching reserve Jerome D’Ambrosio replace him at Monza will have grated on Grosjean, who will return for Singapore on September 22.

“He will have learned a lot because being in your car you have only one radio in your head,” said Boullier.

“When you are sitting in the garage and you have both cars you can learn much more.

“He has definitely learned his lessons and I know he is extremely eager to get back in the car.”
