YOUTH FOOTBALL: Harris's treble is key as Charlbury edge in

Liam Harris hit a hat-trick in Charlbury Town Youth’s 3-2 win against Marsh Gibbon in the Giles Sports Witney Youth Under 14 C League.

Harris fired them ahead and although Thomas Knapton levelled, Harris restored the hosts’ lead.

Harris sealed his treble after the break, before Thomas Maskell cla-wed one back for an exciting finish.

Ben Thomas scored a late winner in Tower Hill’s 2-1 success at home to Bloxham in the Under 15 A League.

Thomas broke the deadlock on 58 minutes when he fastened on to a miscued clearance before firing in from 12 yards.

Rasho Darwood levelled from the penalty spot, but Tower Hill were not to be denied, with Thomas heading in the winner five minutes from time.

William Goldie scored for Tower Hill in a 1-1 draw with Bicester Town Colts Foxes, for whom Cain Camp-bell netted.

A Joey Lee treble and doubles from Josh Allen and Josh Hunt sealed a 7-1 triumph for Enstone Sports at Grendon Rangers in the B League.

Rory Scrivener was the Grendon scorer.

Tower Hill held on for a 4-3 victory against Bardwell in the Under 12 A League.

Goals from Jordan Thomas, Kyle Rawlings and Piers Walton saw Tower Hill storm into a 3-0 lead.

Walton then netted his second to make it 4-0, only for Bardwell to claw three goals back through Seb Fox (2) and Ashley Thompson, but Tower Hill held on for the points.

Ollie Crossley and Billy Morrison helped themselves to doubles as Bampton Town beat Bicester Town Colts Pumas 5-0 in the B League.

Jacob Overton hit his first for the club to complete their tally.

In the C League, Carterton fought back from 2-0 down to edge to a 3-2 success against Tower Hill Stars, thanks to a treble from Liam Felstead.

It looked all over for the hosts as strikes from Bradley Leach and Nathan Tang appeared to put Tower Hill in control.

But the revival was on when Felstead found the net with a diving header, from Joseph Justin’s cross.

After the break, Felstead wrapped up his hat-trick with a double to complete the turnaround.

Josh Griffiths and Eathan Barrett each bagged a four-timer as Witney Vikings Youth won 15-1 at Bourton Rovers Youth in the Under 12 D League.

Dylan Butler a treble as Eynsham Youth won 6-4 at Hook Norton in the Under 11 Blue League.

Ollie Hewitt, Ryan Lewis-Green and Jonny Harrington completed their tally, with Oliver Sammons, Harry Brown, Oscar Raisbeck and Stan Norman on target for Hooky.

Callum Driscoll hammered a hat-trick for Tower Hill as they defeated Combe Junior Sports 6-0 in the Red League.

Luca Balmer, Daniel Greenway and Liam Aust were Tower Hill’s other marksmen.

Mitchell Constable, Lawrence Topley and Matthew Waite were on the mark for Bampton Town in a 3-0 success against Garden City in the Green League.

Ross Henderson scored twice as Bampton Town beat Banbury United Youth Royal 4-0 in the Under 10 Red League.

Regan Pritchard and Declan O’Brien got their others.

A fantastic long-range effort from Felix Robertson put Charlbury Town Youth on their way to a 3-1 win at home to Wychwood in the Under 9 Green League.

Max Sulik doubled the lead with a free-kick before Ethan Mitchell clawed a goal back for the visitors.

But Sulik’s second goal sealed it for Charlbury.

Owain Cartwright scored his first hat-trick in North Leigh’s 3-2 win against Launton Boys Blues.

Jamil Green and Stanley Deeley replied for the visitors.
