Lois Waknell (Cokethorpe) sprints to 100m victory ahead of Beth Mulvany (Matthew Arnold) at the Oxfordshire Schools Track & Field Championships
OWEN Stepney completed a middle distance double in the Oxfordshire Schools Track & Field Championships at Tilsley Park, Abingdon.
The 18-year-old Marlborough School, Woodstock, pupil clinched the senior boy’s 800m and 1,500m titles in 2mins 4.1secs and 4.20.0 respectively.
Other west Oxfordshire winners included Cokethorpe School’s Lois Waknell, 16, who clinched the inter girls’ 100m crown in a season’s best time of 12.5.
