There was a home double at the Woodstock 12 with James Bolton and Rachel Masser emerging victorious.
The Woodstock Harriers duo were the first man and lady home over the 12.1-mile three-lap course in the grounds of Blenheim Palace.
Bolton retained his crown, completing a dominant victory in 1hr 6mins 31secs – just seven seconds down on his 2012 time.
Masser secured her first victory over the tough, undulating course, clocking 1.20.19 for 23rd place overall.
Vet 40 athlete Bolton broke away early on and finished 2mins 44secs ahead of second-placed Paul Fernandez.
The ladies’ race was much closer, with Masser just 45 seconds clear of second-placed Jenny McBain (Alchester).
Woodstock’s Dave Cantwell was fourth and second vet 40 man home in 1.12.52, while Witney Road Runners Tegid Jones was fifth in 1.13.02.
With Kevin Game coming ninth in 1.16.39, Woodstock took the men’s team prize.
The host club were also the second ladies’ team, with Jess Webb (1.23.39) and Lisa Clarke (1.42.58) supporting Masser.
Witney’s Alan Reynolds won the vet 50 men’s prize, finishing 20th in 1.19.33.
Jones, Justin Young (1.16.22) and Reynolds earned Witney the second men’s team prize.
Witney’s Sally Howard (1.33.45) took the third vet 35 ladies’ prize. Eynsham Road Runner Kate Williamson (1.34.47) was the first vet 65, beating all the vet 45 ladies.
l BOB Storey finished second and was the first veteran home in the New Forest Marathon.
The Eynsham Road Runn-ers athlete completed the 26.2-mile multi-terrain event in 2hrs 49mins 41secs, eight minutes behind winner Alastair Pickburn.
WOODSTOCK Harriers’ Martin Townsend finished third in the Toad Challenge.
Townsend completed the three-day 90-mile trail race along the Thames from Oxford to Walton in 14hrs 3mins, which also gave him the vet 50 title.
