Woodstock Harriers’ James Bolton finished fourth in the opening race of the Oxfordshire Mota-Vation series at Charlton-on-Otmoor.
He crossed the line in 21mins 40secs to become the first vet 40 home.
Oxford City’s David Bruce was first home in 20.37.
Eynsham Road Runners Mark Tyrrell was ninth in 22.06 followed by Tegid Jones, from Witney Road Runners, who finished in 22.10.
The first local women’s runner in was Eynsham Roadrunners’ Hannah Hale who crossed the line in 25.25 for fourth.
Headington Roadrunners’ Diane Moore won in 24.26.
