Woodstock's Sophie Carter won the women’s title at the Eynsham 10k on Sunday.

The 35-year-old Belgrave Harriers athlete, recorded a time of 36mins 14.3secs.

Woodstock Harriers’ James Bolton finished fifth.

Bolton, the first Vet 40 home, crossed the line in 33mins 16secs.

The race was won by Abin-gdon AC’s Paul Fernandez in 33.44.

The best-placed Eynsham Roadrunner was vet 40 Robert Storey, who finished 12th in 35.07.
