STEVE Naylor enjoyed some early festive cheer when winning the Hooky Christmas Canter.
The Woodstock Harrier, who lives in Witney, triumphed in 38 mins 27secs, just under four-and-a-half minutes ahead of nearest rival Paddy Haynes, of Portsmouth University.
Eynsham's Mark Baker came home in fifth, while Woodstock duo David Cantwell and Robert Webster crossed tenth and 19th respectively.
