Bicester & North Oxford 2nd and Wallingford will meet at Chesterton to decide the destiny of the Division 5 title after both won at the weekend.

Jamie Hall hit 113 not out tin Bicester’s 222-4 dec after 50 overs at Abingdon Vale 2nd.

Will Allen then took 5-14 as Vale crashed to 55 all out.

Wallingford won a similarly one-sided match at home to Banbury 3rd.

Alan Bowman took 5-35 in the visitors’ 163, Julian Briggs scoring 58 and Ross Freeman 44.

Lee Ainsworth (72no) and Mark Bowman (66no) then saw the hosts to 164-0.

Chearsley beat Great & Little Tew 2nd to keep their slim promotion hopes alive.

Ken Baker took 4-29 in Tew’s 197, Andy Darby hitting 81.

Russell Haynes (130no) led the visitors to 201-4.

Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd beat fellow strugglers Challow & Childrey 2nd.

Fred Walker (45) and Phillip Atkinson (44) helped Challow to 215 all out, but Chris Day (98) and Andy Haynes (63) took Nondies to 216-5.

Ben Friday (78) and Kirk Brazier (59no) steered Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd to a five-wicket win at Bledlow Ridge 2nd.

Earlier, Phil Brooks had scored 65 and Phil Jackson took 3-65 in Ridge’s 204-8.
