Josh Norris was the star of the show for Bampton as he claimed 5-27 to help his side to a 41-run home victory against Kidlington 2nd in OCA League Division 7.

Bampton were bowled out for 139 in the face of a fine display from Arshad Sid-dique (5-28).

But Kidlington then fell for 98 in reply as Norris and Julian Easterbrook (3-16) ripped through the batting.

There was also a five-wicket haul for Neville Bain-bridge (5-16) which helped hosts Stonesfield 2nd to a 32-run victory over Uffin-gton 2nd.

In Division 8, Chadlington 2nd lost to Cowley International 2nd by 65 runs.

After posting 209 all out, hosts Cowley dismissed Chadlington for 144 as Abdullah Saeed claimed 5-35 and Idris Mohammed 4-54.

Hosts Chipping Norton 2nd raced to a nine-wicket victory against Marcham 2nd.

Restricting their visitors to 125-7, Darren Underhill scored 50 not out to lead Chippy to 129-1.

Dan Bishop hit a century to help visitors Ducklington to a 110-run victory away at Combe 2nd.

Bishop’s 105 was the main contribution in Ducklington’s 261-9 and they restricted Combe to 151-9 in reply.
