Left-arm spinner Eddie Dunn was the star as Minster Lovell eased to a six-wicket home victory over Chadlington in OCA League Division 1 on Saturday.
Batting first, Chadlington were shot out for a paltry 86 as Dunn finished with 5-13 from eight overs.
Minster then eased to 87-4 in reply.
However, on Monday, they lost by five wickets to Shrivenham in the Airey Cup final at Faringdon.
Conor Taylor took 5-32 as Minster Lovell were shot out for just 110.
Shrivenham then eased their way to victory at 114-5.
Meanwhile, back in league action, Ben Geeson-Brown’s unbeaten century helped Charlbury to a six-wicket win at in-form Hook Norton.
Hooky had posted 211-7 as Tim Lunel top-scored with 47.
But Geeson-Brown scored exactly 100 not out as Charlbury got to 217-4.
In Division 3, Combe stayed in promotion contention with a crushing 179-run win at home to Chesterton.
Chris Moore hit 101 not out and Robbie Nicholson 93 in Combe’s 241-2, but it was left to seamer Dave Gardner to wrap up victory, returning remarkable figures of 6-3 in seven overs as Chesterton were skittled out for 62.
Eynsham secured the Division 4 title after easing to an 80-run victory at Wolvercote.
Sam Jones (62) and Mark Weller (41) helped Eynsham post 225-7, before Dave Harris took 5-29 and Adam Hingley 3-20 to dismiss Wolvercote for 145.
Hailey won the day’s battle for third place as they saw off Wootton & Boars Hill by 35 runs.
Joey King led the way with 52, helping Hailey to 166-8.
In reply, Wootton fell to 131 all out, Perry Tinson taking 3-17.
Charlie Sinton helped Charlbury 2nd to a three-wicket win at home to Swinbrook.
Jake Godfrey claimed 4-10 in Swinbrook’s 171 all out, before Sinton hit 87 to see Charlbury to 172-7.
In Division 5, Kilkenny saw off hosts Marcham, by four wickets.
Darren Gordon took 4-34 in Marcham’s 158-8, for whom James France scored 74.
Jason Penn then hit 65 and Duncan Macdonald 35 to lead Kilkenny to 159-6.
Hanborough kept up their charge for promotion after beating hosts Cassington Rescue by six wickets.
Chasing Cassington’s 146-4, Han-borough eased home at 147-7 as Matthew Neilsen scored 58 not out.
Minster Lovell 2nd were handed a six-wicket defeat by Division 6 leaders Risinghurst in a low-scoring match.
Romeo Fernandes took 4-7 as Minster were rolled over for 61, before Risinghurst reached 64-4.
In Division 7, Grant Print fell three runs short of a century as Bampton won by 60 runs at Stonesfield 2nd.
Print hit 97 and Jacob Booty 56 not out in Bampton’s 213-6.
Josh Norris then claimed 5-38 as Stonesfield fell to 153 all out, Chris Drinkwater hitting 59.
Ducklington stayed clear at the top of Division 8 with a three-wicket win at West Ilsley 2nd.
Darren Harriss took 4-11 in 12 overs to help restrict the hosts to 162-8.
Jacob Souch then scored 41 in Ducklington’s 167-7.
Witney Swifts 2nd celebrated promotion from Division 9 after edging out Deddington 2nd in a nine-run win.
David Craig hit a maiden league century (104no) to help Swifts reach 215 all out.
Deddington closed on 206-7 as Lewis Bletchley top-scored with 47.
Tom Prentice took 5-42 to help Eynsham 2nd to a two-wicket home victory against Wolvercote 2nd.
