Batting first, Cowley amassed 305-9, opener Ehsan Hussain top-scoring with 104.

Ben Smitten stroked 71 of their 218-9 before Patrick Arnold (4-27) spearheaded the attack, leaving Marsh on 155. Stuart Leonard hit 58.

Andy Small (31no) was the difference at the Willows as Cairns Fudge recovered from 50-7, Mo Shafqat returning 5-24, to overhaul Wolvercote’s all out 81, without further loss of wickets.

Having lost four matches to rain, Wootton & Boars Hill ended their season second in Division 4, but with a 100 per cent record, after battering Deddington by seven wickets.

Cameron Spilsbury was their star with 6-9 as their opponents were undone for only 67.

Stuart Armstrong was man of the match as his Marcham outfit got the better of Britwell Salome.

His 6-46 was followed up by 53 as the target of 132 was reached with four wickets in hand.

Adrian Redhead hit a ton (108) and James Neal 82 as Dorchester racked up 318-9 at home to Kennington in Division 5.

A plucky reply, in which Sam Foster top-scored with 55, was halted at 265-8 as the overs ran out.

Newly-crowned champions Stanton Harcourt condemned Garsington 2nd to Division 6 for next season after annihilating them by 269 runs.

Half-centuries from Andrew Walker (77), Louis Pettifer (57) and Oliver Pascoe (53) lifted them to 347-8 before shooting out the opposition for 78.

There were no games in Division 6 where Sunningwell finished on top and Oxenford 2nd last.

The most notable effort of the day in Division 7 was provided by Reginald Isaac. His 103 set up the Tetsworth total of 219-8, 54 runs too many for East & West Hendred 2nd.

Wolvercote 2nd sealed second spot behind Cowley Internationals 2nd in Division 8 with a 10-wicket victory at Uffington 2nd, where Daniel Crouch smashed an unbeaten 48.

Having landed the Division 9 title weeks ago, Wootton &Boars Hill 2nd lost to Risinghurst 2nd by four wickets.

Santha Thirupathi claimed 4-13 before Dave Hewes bludeoned 64 not out of the 98 required in a successful chase.

It was a similar story at Hanney 2nd where Kilkenny 2nd, already assured of the League 10 pennant, succumbed to their hosts by 111 runs.

Their batting was second best to on-song Sam May (3-19), Mark Shelley (3-17) and Najmi Zeeshan (3-31).
